Re: replacement for thunderbird?

Some people will not be very happy, but I recommend Seamonkey. Its biggest disadvantage but it is also true for many apps based on GTK is, that Orca can hang on The lists which will have thousands of items. This situation is much more better for Linux distributions, which uses Dbu-broker. For Example Fedora Work station or Fedora Mate spin.
Those distros thanks to Dbus-broker can support even long lists much more better.
But The best situation for now is to use E-mails only by using WEB interface and some WEB browser. If you will sort E-mails Seamonkey will be good for you but remember, that GOogle GMAIL support advanced security techniques, so Thunderbird, Seamonkey and other E-mail clients must have permissions to access GMAIL so gmail must be set to use less security standards.
