accessible command-line linux

Hello,

I am interested in installing Linux on a spare computer I have.  Unfortunately my refreshable braille display is non-functional at this point, so I will need to rely on speech for everything.

Is there a release of debian that has Speakup installed and working for not only the installation but also by default for the console?

I would also like the option of using orca for gnome accessibility.

It has been several years since I have looked at debian so I am not up on the current state of the distro.

Thanks in advance

Thanks, Donald

Accessibility, like security, is better when built-in from the beginning rather than bolted on at the end.
