firmware-buster-DI-alpha4-amd64

Hello,

I'm coming back to Debian after using Antergos (discontinued) a
derivitive of Arch Linux.

With many Linux versions, I can increase the console font size
substantially, but not with Debian.

Years ago before kernel mode set, it was easy to have a low resolution
console but not know.

I'm still having problems with speech in console.

Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.37-5 (2019-06-19) x86_64 GNU/Linux

I'm using
firmware-buster-DI-alpha4-amd64-DVD-1.iso because the installer works.

But console speech starts out working but then stops.

Now I have no speech!

Orca works fine but there's no speech in console soon after boot up.

I don't know why it stops.

How can I find out why it stops?

Thanks,
David
