enabling accessibility in lightdm: procedure in the wiki does not work

Hi all,

I am using Debian jessie with any package up to date. I’m using the mate desktop, so I have lightdm installed as display manager.

I wanted to enable accessibility in lightdm, so that I could get orca support while logging in. So I followed the procedure documented here:

https://wiki.debian.org/accessibility

but it does not work: the login screen stays not accessible.

Is there any way to get orca support in lightdm working? Or should I file a bug against lightdm?

Thanks in advance for your support.

Vincenzo.
