Bug#634078: speakup: The 1st words on a line are hashed
Package: speakup
Version: Installer
Severity: normal
Hi,
In some circumstances, e.g. in the installer (for wheezy), speakup doesn't say the 1st item or the 1st syllabus of some words. For example, when the language choose screen appears: sometimes, instead of saying: "1 english 3 french ...", it says " english 3 french".
It does this on all the installer's screens, but randomly. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Moreover, when we type on the keybord, for example, 3, instead of saying "three", it says "ee". 17 becomes "ven". The 1st syllabus disappear. It's a more constant behavior.
I tried on a VirtualBox machine. Some test on a real machine could be done, but I think the problem is the same.
Thanks for the fix.
Regards,
