I've been meaning to grab this for ages. Finally did it this morning. :)
Looks good, but:
1. How do I start speakup with software speech on the boot prompt? I've
forgotten how it was done in older versions of speakup.
2. How can I pass 2 boot params? eg. brltty=bn,ttyUSB0,en_us and also
the command to start speakup?
Does emacspeak work out-of-the-box?

I'm using the small cd as I only need a rescue image.

Daniel.
