sarge speakup install
Kenny and anybody else who was looking:
don't know if you found the sid access floppies work for you or if you
want to install sid. However, I did find the netinst cdrom done in
February. It looks like it hasn't been modified since, but I was able to
boot it and get speech using
speakup speakup_synth=bns
and looked at the preliminary menu. though this is out-of-date, you might
be able to use this, especially if you used jigdo to download a set of
current sarge cdroms and use those for the actual install. Maybe you
already saw this and were hoping for something more recent. I didn't want
to wipe out my present install at the moment so didn't go past the
language choice and subsequent menu. If you want to try this, the cd image
is at:
