Re: Has anyone successfully bootstrapped gcc-4.6.3 on m68k?

Hello Andreas,

Could I kindly ask which specific part of the configuration that you explained in your attached post is not supported on m68k? The original NEXTSTEP gcc-3.2.3 configuration files effectively specified:

#undef JUMP_TABLES_IN_TEXT_SECTION
#define CASE_VECTOR_MODE SImode
#undef CASE_VECTOR_PC_RELATIVE

This worked fine on gcc-3.2.3 and gcc-3.4.6. Is this no longer an acceptable configuration for gcc-4.x? I tried looking through some source and documentation and it is not obvious to me, with my limited knowledge, what configuration is supported and what is not.

Thank you very much for your help.
