Ok, I will look which are the relevant binaries and file bugs against
ftp.debian.org.
Because it was mentioned in this thread as well: how about removing
libgl/libglu implementations. Well, it seems that mesa would be another
promising candidate for removal.
However, this seems to get a bit more tricky, since there are about 130
packages depending on either libglu1-xorg or libglu1-mesa (and maybe I
missed some anyway). I attached the list of packages (output of
apt-cache rdepends on i386, so this isn't the exact list of packages
for m68k). And please note that this list only include direct depends on
this libraries. some of the packages are libraries, and therefore there
will be even more packages in question.
I don't know if any of these packages will be useful on m68k. Perhaps
one or the other screensaver, but I'm sure that most (if not all) of
them can be built without gl support as well. This, however, will need
at least a re-upload with adjusted build-dependencies for m68k.
All in all, the removal of mesa on m68k would cause quite some work. On
the one hand, affected packages would have to be identified. On the
other hand, it has to be evaluated, which of the 'depending' packages
would have to be modified to not depend on libgl/libglu anymore if
possible. The rest could be dropped.
Perhaps too much work for having less packages to look after on m68k.
(which I think would help the port, however).
