2.6 kernel

Hi all !
I tried to compile 2.6.8 kernel from .deb package, and also I installed 2.6.8 kernel-patches.
All I get is WHITE screen after amiboot-5.6 "kernel uncompressing" and a "heartbeat" - power led is blinking (I turned this option in kernel config)
I have an A1200 with Blizzard 1230 cpu board @ 50 mhz and an FPU, Plain AGA PAL mode (TV), 32 Ram., GCC 3.3.5 (??? I'm not really sure, but the version is from sarge distribution). May be I missed some options in config ? So what MUST HAVE options do I need to successfully compile kernel and what options do I don't NEED AT ALL ? Sorry, I cannot post you original .config - my Amiga is at my parents home, near DSL socket =), I'll visit it on Thursday.
Can someone post .config from 2.6.x kernel ?(WORKING ONE) Thank you very much in advance.

Someone succeded running 2.6.x kernel ?
What versions do you use ? What patches did you applied ? What is the correct order of action ? (Download kernel-xxx from yyy-site, apply patch zzz and so on ?)
Thank you very much in advance.
