I'm having a real "hell" getting my keyboard to work properly in X. Dunno if
I'm missing some settings in XF86Config-4 but some keys are definately in
the wrong place. For example is my right-alt acting as a shift-key right
now...

Only setting I have is "xkbdisable" at the moment (having a swedish
amiga-keyboard)

This is my keyboard-settings in XF86Config-4:

Section "InputDevice"
   Identifier "Generic Keyboard"
   Driver "keyboard"
   Option "CoreKeyboard"
   Option "Xkbdisable"
EndSection

My other problem in X now that I've got it up and running is this:

All this is with a CV64/3D..

If I boot with virge:640x480-16 and have 16 as default in bitplanes I can
only get a 16-bit X that looks as it should. Even using -- -bpp 8 or --
-depth 8 (or 24 in both cases) makes the graphics look really ugly.

If I boot with 640x480-8 I can only get an 8-bit X that looks right and the
rest is the same for other depth...

I cannot change the resolution either, I always get a 1024x768 at 87 hz,
even if I enter "openvt -c 7 fbset YYYYxZZZ-FF". It still reverts to the
mentioned resolution and refreshrate.

Since I'm no expert in setting up X, and definately not xfree86 4.1, I'm
quite baffled about all this..

This is how it looks in the config right now:

Section "Screen"
   Identifier "Default Screen"
   Device "Generic Video Card"
   Monitor "Generic Monitor"
   DefaultDepth 8
   SubSection "Display"
      Depth 1
      Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
   EndSubSection
   SubSection "Display"
      Depth 4
      Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
   EndSubSection
   SubSection "Display"
      Depth 8
      Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
   EndSubSection
   SubSection "Display"
      Depth 15
      Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
   EndSubSection
   SubSection "Display"
      Depth 16
      Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
   EndSubSection
   SubSection "Display"
      Depth 24
      Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
   EndSubSection
EndSection

As I can't find my alt-key I cannot test if it's possible to change
resolution when in X... and I find no tool in KDE to do that with either..
