I created the Network Access Disk, and booted from that.
Then i tried to use Apple HD SC Setup (or a similar name) to edit
partitions... but it said it couldn't because the disk was in use...
How can i partition that disk?
And, after partitioning, how can i install the network access disk to
the hard disk, so that it will be bootable? will it do that
automatically?
The way I did in my SE/30 was to boot from the Network
Access Disk, then (appletalk/ethertalk, whatever you want to call it)
mount the directory in my PowerMac 7500 where I had the patched Apple
HD SC Setup and go from there.
I also tried to boot from cd, a System 7.6 cd, but it reads a bit from
the cd drive, and then boots from hard disk... what can be wrong here?
I do not know which machine you are trying to boot from, but
could it be the CDROM drive you have cannot be used as a boot drive?
