Strange A3000 install problem
I've got an A3000/25 with 2 chip, 4 fast on mainboard, 64 fast on a
DKB 3128, an A2065 net card and a Picasso IV graphics board. I haven't
got an accelerator. I don't think this is a very unusual system?
When I start Linux to do an install, after some random amount of time
- 30 seconds to 2 minutes - the system freezes up. The cursor keeps
blinking, and that's all the life there is.
Repeating this a dozen times, it rarely happens before the blue
install screens, but I've yet to make it past the first few menus.
What would cause such an erratic problem?
