scsi problem on a quadra 950

i installed the mac installation archives from the debian ftp (penguin,
etc), everything worked fine until the first boot.
linux boots up, detects the scsi bus and devices and than complains
about problems with the scsi-bus:

it looks like it's the 2nd (the external) scsi bus. i don't need this
one, can i simply disable it? how is that done?
maybe it's a hardware problem, i don't know if i need a terminator on
the external scsi bus, if there's no device on it.
