Apache probs on a P630

Hi All,
Have a problem, which I need to check out with you all.
Have a Quadra 630 at home as a test machine. Running Debian 2.2r3. (stock
install) Works perfectly. Have a Performa 630 at work, (same spec and
install) which I was hoping to use as a very basic (and admittedly fairly
slow) apache server for a v.small flash based help system until I can find
a more suitable machine for the purpose.
The problem is the Performa works fine but apache fails to start. I get a
error in line 171 (during boot as it's starting to load services) and
something about a segmentation error. I am fairly new to this and have
been playing with Debian on 68k's for a month max. Other Linux experience
is just as limited.
As I understand the P630's with their 68LC040's sometimes have bad 'mask
revisions' Is my problem a symptom of this and as such should I just ditch
the effort on this machine, or have I done something stupid??

TIA
