Keyboard timeout while booting a Powerbook 145B

Hi,

I am currently attempting to install Debian/GNU Linux
on my Powerbook 145B.

I followed the instructions found in the install.sit.hqx
package of the current version.

I managed to reach the step #4 and the system
boots properly.

The keyboard, a french standard one (not extended)
seems to not be detected : the message
'keyboard timed out' appears in the boot trace
(messages are too fast that I can't read them all !).
But the boot process continues whithout hanging.

Then the installation screen 'set color or monochrome
display' appears, but keyboard hits are not catched.
The system does not seem to be frozen because the
cursor remains blinking.

The only remaining solution is to hardware shutdown
the mac.

Help !

Bertrand Allo.
