Problems with booting on a Centris 650

Hi dear Debian Linuxers,

It seems that I have a (big?) Problem with booting
on a Centris 650.

Here is the description of my problem:

I start up installation with penguin.prefs.

Penguin starts displays the whole messages an says "fasten your
seat-belts. Everything O.K. :-)

Now the kernel starts and puts his messages on my screen.
All my hardware gets detected as it should.

	Kernel on:

	NCR3C9x (esp236) detected
	SCSI ID 7 Clock 16 Mhz CCF>4 Time-Out 130
	Mac_esp: 1 esp controllers found
	Scsi0: Sparc ESP236
	Scsi: 1 host

	Kernel off:

Now my two QUANTUM LPS240S getting detected all right.

But now comes my nightmare: :-(

	Kernel on:

	Partition check:
 	Sda:esp0: Currently - INTREG < > STATUS<DATA_OUT,> \
	STEP<SLCT_ARB_CMPLT>
	Esp0: New - INTREG < > FDONE BSERV > STATUS <STATUS,\
	IRQ,> STEP<NOT_IN_CMD_PHASE>
Scsi0: change target 0 lun 0 request failed, performing reset.
SCSI bus being reset for host 0 channel 0.

	Kernel off:

The maschine hangs and the only way out is the reset button :-(

For completeness the Penguin-Output.
