Partitioning...

Hello, i'm trying to install Linux on my Amiga 1200, but i've some
troubles with partitioning...
my configuration is 68040/40, 16+2 MB RAM, HD 1.7 Gb and 8x CD

Problem: i partition the HD, with an AmigaOS boot partition (150MB), a
swap partition (40Mb) and a Linux Partition (500 Mb).
well, when i begin to install the swap partition and the Amiga partition
are recognized, but the LNX\0 partition isn't
i follow the instruction included on the package in amigainstall.lha (in
the ftp.debian.org). the partitioning program in the package seems to not
work.
have you any ideas?
