Did that. And you were right...
g++ -O  -DX11=1 -DUSE_RANDOM -DXEVIL_KEYSET=UIlinux -DUSE_UINT_NET_LENGTH -I../ cmn -I../x11 -I../x11/bitmaps -I/usr/X11R6/include -o ../x11/release/ui.o -c ui.cpp

ui.cpp:1316: initialization to `char *' from `const char *' discards qualifiers
make[6]: *** [../x11/release/ui.o] Error 1

I did not see where to add a const here... another patch, please.
