slink network problem



Hi!

I«m hoping that some of you could help me with my problem.

I just installed Debian 2.1 68k version to my Macintosh Quadra 610 computer, 
everything seems to be fine exept that network doesn«t work at all. All network 
configuration is like it should be, and network card works in MacOS just fine. I
have checked all the configuration, and they are ok; same kind of configuration 
is working fine in my I386 Debian 2.1 version, exept IP address of course.

I«m not 100% sure about the network interface, but Debian finds it in booting 
with the name: Sonic ethernet, and it«s located in eth0 ; it doesn«t give any 
error messages in any situation.

ifconfig eth0 looks like this:

I«ve checked network files from /etc/init.d directory and started them manually 
also, but there was no help. 

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions what«s wrong?
