Update: Moving the meeting - please vote!
Ok, more negotiating/investigating/updates: Some of you found the weekend
Sep 25-27 to be very bad and asked for the possibility to hold it another
week later. I visited the 'officials' once more, and here are the results:
The rooms are also available at the weekend October 02-04, though on
October 2nd the rooms are not free until 1 p.m., but I think this is not
too much of a problem - most of you came later than 1 p.m. in the last years,
only Arno can perhaps depart a little later this time :-}.
I know some guys will most definitely not be able to come in October
(Atte, Klaus), but the new date gives others the chance to come (Christian
Steigies, Sven Luther?). This is the evil problem of judging what's more
important. My primary goal is that I want the meeting to take place, with
as much of the Linux/m68k community as possible. I'm sorry if this makes
it impossible for some to come.
So, I reserved the new date as well until Monday, and now I need votes from
you: either
[ ] September 25-27 is ok for me
or
[ ] October 02-04 is ok for me
or
[ ] I don't have time at either of these
I already know some opinions now, but please reply (to me; Reply-To: is
set) anyway (except if you want more public discussion on the mailing
lists).
The decision will be made on Monday.
