DC16 timeline & communication

Hi all

We'll shortly have to get cracking on the timeline. Can everyone add
what they are busy with, what they plan to get busy with, and what
they just generally think someone should get busy with on the timeline
here:

https://debconf15.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf16/Timeline

Could the wider DebConf orga team please send some links to previous
DebConfs to serve as a guide?

Then, we chatted informally tonight that there's some gremlins in the
communication system. Let's discuss how to communicate better?

One suggestion we had is:

1. When you get an idea, let the team know: email the team.
You can chat on IRC, wiki, whatever, but the email is the main route
of communication.
2. As you progress, keep your work on git (or dropbox for noobs), and,
let the team know how it progresses to get creative input. A deadline
on when this should be done, or a final direction agreed on, must be
decided here to reduce too much bikeshedding. (This needs discussion
please)
3. Once you feel something is final, or it has decided by the team as
final, this is made official through a email that says it's final.

Can we make our next IRC meeting for Wednesday, 9 September, 20:30? If
unsuitable, please suggest another time.

best regards
Bernelle
