Hello all,
I've copied all current videos in here, and generating index files (s3 does not auto-index):
http://debian-video.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/

Does any of the video team want (individual) access to push or remove videos from this? It's not automatically syncing form anywhere - feel free to write scripts to do so. Something as easy as "s3cmd copy" would be sufficient to copy files in to there.

Re: the DNS name - as I didn't create this under debian.net domain to start with, to rename I have to create a new bucket and duplicate the files across. So if that's fine, I'll just use the current name (we can't just CNAME the current bucket as the HTTP host header needs to mach the bucket name).

There's no limit to the volume we can store here (each file must be <5TB), but please dont abuse it; for the source DV, if we want to archive that, then lets make another key hierarchy (eg: /video-archive) and set a lifecycle policy to archive that content to Glacier (archive storage) after a small period (7 days).

Any DD in the Video team that wants access to be able to upload, modify, remove content from this bucket, please let me know off-line.

  James
