[Debconf-video] Camera remote control kits, what options are there?

I just browsed my way to some camera remote control kits
(pan/tilt/zoom/focus and monitor) at B&H photo, and I was
more than a little tempted by this kit:

It is pricey, for sure.  But it is not in the same ballpark
as professional studio gear.  It doesn't cost much more than
my "prosumer" video camera, for comparison.

I think this calls for further investigation.
