[Debconf-team] debconf-announce duplicate emails




I'm receiving two copies of each email sent to debconf-announce

Looking at the headers of each, they are both from the debconf-announce
subscription (not some other list) and both sent to the same recipient
address daniel@pocock.pro

Is there some way that some email addresses could have been added to the
list more than once?  E.g. has somebody done a bulk subscription of
addresses that appear in DebConf registration forms without
de-duplicating those who were already subscribed?
