Folks, just a quick update… the saver tickets for arriving in Heidelberg with Deutsche Bahn have gone on sale, but we're holding off on a reminder to $everyone until you can also book the return tickets, i.e. next week. Meanwhile, some folks doing this stuff for CCC and FrOSCon have simply arranged for us to get so-called "event tickets" to attend DC15 by train. In short: 2nd class travel back and forth costs 99 € if you pre-select a train, 139 € if you want to stay flexible. This is not interesting to people coming from the surrounding airports as those tickets are cheaper than these event tickets, but it should be interesting to those coming from remote cities and unable to snatch a saver ticket or wanting to stay flexible. Attached are the details (in German). This doesn't cost us anything, and it might be useful to some. -- .''`. martin f. krafft <madduck@debconf.org> @martinkrafft : :' : DebConf orga team `. `'` `- DebConf15: Heidelberg, Germany: http://debconf15.debconf.org DebConf16: Cape Town: https://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf16
