The legal requirement is that members are not treated better than
anyone else, and I would read that sentence as exactly that. If
someone gets travel expenses it would not be because someone is a
member but for another reason that is applicable the same way to
anyone.

However, I have more often than not tended to change that to "erhalten
als solche keinerlei", because that explicitly shows that this is
"your role as member doesn't entitle you to money". Another role
might.

I think that is all too complex. The relevant information that needs
to be there: members have to pay a fee. And the assembly decides on
that. So something like "Die Mitgliedschaft verpflichtet zur Zahlung
des Mitgliedbeitrags, der von der Mitgliederversammlung in der
Beitragsordnung festgelegt wird." would be ok, or if you want to be a
bit more formal: "Die Mitgliedschaft verpflichtet zur Zahlung des
Mitgliedbeitrags. Das weitere regelt die Beitragsordnung, die von der
Mitgliederversammlung erlassen wird.". (The majority is already
regulated elsewhere, and I don't think things should get repeated
unless necessary.)

That's often the case, and is usually interpreted "as soon as people
could have their own serious opinion they could vote", so why not?

I think sentence two should be dropped.

The usual workaround is to have informal pre-discussions, and have a
public show-meeting. On the other hand, that looks like just dropping
that line.
