I mean the fee (the amount you pay) should not include food or
accomodation. The fee is for your "conference ticket". But this is
completely voluntary as you can also participate as "normal" attendee
just for free. The idea stays the same as previously that the
professional fee is meant to support the conference.

By this I mean that if you register as a professional attendee (and pay
the fee) you also have to pay for food and accomodation for those days
you actually want sleep and/or eat at Le Camp. One should not be able to
register as professional and take sponsored food and/or accomodation.
Because otherwise the idea of separating the professional fee into a
conference fee (per conference) and a food and accomodation fee (per
day) would mean that the overall price would be much lower than in
previous years. 

It also sounds a bit weird if you want to support the conference but not
pay for the costs of your food and accomodation. If you only want to pay
part of your costs you can still apply for sponored food and
accomodation and make a donation towards DebConf.

I hope this makes it clearer.
