[Debconf-team] Gathering exception requests

Hi,

I'm collecting requests from team members for people who deserve DebConf10
funding that wouldn't normally be available to them under the established
rules, for especially good reasons. I will give the list to Bdale for
sanity-checking as we agreed during the May 22 global team meeting[0], and he
will pass it on with his recommendations to Zack as DPL.

Before we get to the point of forwarding the list to Zack, we will do an
assessment of our post-reconfirmation financial situation so that we can handle
requests internally to the extent our budget allows, instead of reflexively
defaulting to asking for Debian funds. That's no reason not to start the
process now.

In your emails, please say who the person is who deserves the exception, what
the especially good reason is, and what exact exception they would need (it's
not always travel, it's not always food/lodging, etc). Please send this to me
(preferably GPG-signed) by midnight NYC time on Saturday.
