Yes, we have no way out of giving them all a slot as speakers. Now, is
OpenDay the right moment for them? I read in a later mail that HP can
give their talk during the rest of DebConf. I understand Junta if they
want the opening slot, even if it is low on DDs, as there will be a
large number of Spanish people there. As for Telefonica (Morfeo
project), it could be interesting later on. Thing is, OpenDay is just
one day, and putting too many sponsor talks will greatly dillute what
we are offering to the audience.

BTW, the Morfeo page makes no mention of Telefónica. Are you sure it
is theirs?

And yes, all the sponsor talks should be set with no competition from
parallel sessions.

Umm, I'd put the Spanish keynote between the others, in order not to
bore the attendees to death. And open with a short welcome talk (15
min?) meant for the locals, not as a DebConf welcome, explaining a bit
what are we doing during those two crazy weeks.

Sounds nice.

As I said, the HP talk must not have competition (official at least).

You mention me explicitly, so I acknowledge and confirm :-}

/me thanks you a LOT.
