I know I've been in the inbetween stage of being able to pay but
preferring to be in the main accomodation before and ending up feeling
guilty about taking something for free that I was perfectly able to pay
for.  Perhaps it'd be worth having a non-sponsored option for the
student residences anyway - unless it's a lot of hassle to set up the
worst that's likely to happen is that nobody takes the option?
