Hi, Well, just what I just said: Last year was a bit frustrating to me: I was officially a Debconf organizer, but besides giving some opinions here and there, and helping with whatever I could do without getting too much involved, I don't think I really acted as an organizer. I intended to get more involved this year - But I lack time. Rather, I lack the ability to organize my time, which is not hard-pressed or anything. And it's not like there is not enough people deeply involved in a Debconf organization anymore - There are a couple people involved since DC6, and the very nice team who managed to put together DC7. DC8 is not short-staffed either. So... Well, at least for the time being, I put my deeply loved orga hat back on the table. I expect to keep somehow involved, as a irregular meeting attendee, lurking the mailing list, or whatever. Yes, not much of an announcement - But I just had to state it.
