1. different teams in debconf organisation / general work modes / structure
Ganneff proposed various teams to organise DebConf, and asked the floor to
comment on them. It was generally agreed that having a list of people to
contact in case of a query was a good idea.
It was propsed that, in general, a consensus model should be used for
	making decisions. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consensus_decision_making)
ACTION:	team contacts contact their teams and list who's on it on the
			wiki.
Concerns were raised that in the current structure, there isn't anyone to
manage a timeline. h01ger, Ganneff, moray and Tolimar volunteered to head
	this.

2. sponsorship team / budget / getting money
Maulkin volunteered to take parts of sponsorship, as he already worked
with Stockholm there, and there is a lot of 'local' sponsorship work to
be done. He will step back from website team a lot, already getting other
	volunteers to help there.
Other victims^Wvolunteers include Sledge, fil and faw.
Some discussion occured as to the possibility of creating different levels
of sponsorship, but it was decided against, as sponsors may pay the minimum
amount to gain a particular level. The team should revisit this at a later
date to work out potential impact.
It was noted that there should be good interaction between the sponsor
seeking team and whoever is managing the budget.
ACTION:	Sponsorship team to look at impact of creating levels of
			sponsorhsip.
It was decided that maulkin, sledge, fil and hydroxide should manage the
budget, as they're also linked with the sponsorship team, and are local.
Some concerns were raised about keeping the budget public vs. private.
These will be discussed at a later date.

3. discuss relation to debian
	h01ger stated:
"we are debian. and we are debconf, that is, the debian conference :)
but i dont think we need to formulate/formalize this relation at the
moment. imho we can rest a bit and think about this. there is no urgent
action needed now. the only thing need to be dealt with at the moment
is agreeing that people can go to sponsors on the behalf of debian."
	aj stated:
"i think the main thing that would help is to have some concrete ideas
on what debconf tries to achieve [sic: and the measurements on how
sucessful a particular DebConf has been]"
ACTION:	h01ger to start a wiki page and seek feedback from -discuss and
-team as to the purpose and sucess measurement of DebConf.

4. DebConf6 Video Update Report
h01ger received a copy of all raw videos last week, and they are now on a
fast connected host. They will be moving over to m-a.d.n in the next few
days, and will then need to be re-encoded. This should be ready
	real-soon-now(tm).
ACTION:	gwolf to liase with -video re: some software he's written

5. news from edinburgh?
activity report is mostly 'people have been resting'. There has been some
activity, including investigation into bank accounts etc. Maulkin has
started the ball rolling in setting up a limited liability
company/organisation, and further research is being done on this front.
There is also a local team meeting in September in Edinburgh.
kevc will be meeting with the venue manager soon to get something concrete,
	and place a provisional booking.

6.	monthly meetings - when?
Further discussion will occur on the lists with regard to when the best
	time for monthly meetings are.

Meeting closes 21:29
