The easiest, from a visibility and price aspect, are the fluorescent
paper types (think of 3M Post-It colours - common and cheap):

Organizers (orange)
Volunteers (yellow)
Registered participants (green)
anyone else: (white)

White is of course printed on plain ordinary white paper. :)

The colour order expectedly follows a DefCon-level type of coding that
is easy to rememebr and plain obvious to most people: the hotter, the
higher.
