Interest in off-site, full-time child-care at DebConf15

Parents,

in trying to make DebConf15 a child-/parent-friendly conference,
we've been investigating numerous options: facilitating
self-organisation (the current default), babysitters on-site, and
even professional child-care, on- and off-site.

One of those options requires a decision ASAP, or else they cannot
hold our tentative booking. Details follow, but the point of this
e-mail is short: please let me know ASAP if you would opt for the
following child-care offering for your kid(s):

It's a professional child-care provider based in the vicinity of
Heidelberg who specialises in doing conference child-care
world-wide. Have a look at the following video of one of the
conferences they did:

Their website has a few more links at the bottom but is otherwise in
Germany only:

These are professional child-carers with lots of experience and
references. They take kids aged 18 months and up, split into 2–3 age
groups. They collect them in the morning and spend the day outside
with them, doing activities or just running around, eat lunch with
them, and return them to the youth hostel in time for dinner.
Part-time options are not available.

The costs for this could be borne by the conference orga, as well as
participation of around 100 €/child for the full length of the
conference. There are also sponsors interested in supporting this.

As a parent myself, I consider this a really cool idea and I would
probably let my daughter take part. But unless we get upwards of 10
kids for this, it won't be possible.

So please, let me know if this would be of interest to you. Please
feel free to reply in private if you are not comfortable discussing
such topics on a public mailing list. Your information will be kept
secure.

Also, if you know of parents not subscribed to the list, please
forward this message to them and urge them to subscribe. If we want
to make DebConf more child-/parents-friendly, we need a way to reach
out to you.
