The closest shopping centre to the venue, where you can find supermarkets (Carrefour, Biocoop), an electronics shop (Fnac), and many others, is located in Plouzané. The nearest bus stop, Commerce, (Bus line 11) is currently out of service because of ongoing building works.
There is also a shopping center which also has a Carrefour (but not Fnac) in Brest at the Tram Station Vali Hir. Bus 2b to the Terminus of the Tram, continue in the comfortable (and airconditioned) trams.
This takes WAY longer than to Plouzané, but has the advantage the the tram runs every 10 minutes and the bus every 15 (on weekdays), so you don't have to exactly time your trip back than to the Bus 11 which runs about once an hour.
If you look suspicious (like I obviously did) they will inspect your bags on entry. That was not the most pleasant experience.
