Should we not make that NOTE rather more prominent?

I'd suggest doing the same as I did for the Debian wiki[1], which was to
strikethrough the now-bad advice, so that people might realise they need
to keep reading as far as the second paragraph.

BTW the thing you were pointing at is on the DebConf25 site, which is
not AFAIK a wiki, otherwise I'd fix it myself.
