However, both platforms cater to people who are more likely than average
to be running Linux systems already (or are able to install it
themselves if need be). The bigger mass of people who are affected by
Windows 10 being sunset probably won't come across these websites. Which
is why I like Santiago's idea of reaching out to local media - maybe
there is a section where they advertise local events? Could a French
speaker volunteer to do that?

with organizations which focus on sustainability whose members might be
interested in our workshop. Do any with local chapters in Brest come to
mind?
I did some research and it looks like there are local groups of
Extinction Rebellion[0] and Youth for Climate[1] (the French version of
Fridays for Future, apparently) in Brest. I'd be happy to reach out to
them. Do you think that makes sense (in English)?
