Reminder: DebConf20 registration, bursary status, Covid-19 survey results

just a quick reminder:
The local team and the DebConf committee (DCC) need to decide next
Monday whether we keep DebConf20 as a physical conference for those
that will likely be able (and willing) to travel in August.
Please help us by registering if you want to attend at:
https://debconf20.debconf.org/register
by end of the week.
The bursary requests are closed for the moment as that deadline has
passed yesterday. So please register now if you do not need travel
sponsorship. Don't bother about food and accommodation at the moment.
For safety reasons alone, that would likely (have to) be provided.
The results of the survey we conducted in parallel are available at:

24% of all people that wanted to join DebConf20 before the Corona
epidemic would still do so today and also recommend the in-person
conference. 59% prefer an online-only conference and 18% recommend to
cancel DebConf20.
79% of all respondents would be willing to join an online-only DebConf.
