Was half-joking as well because rumor sparking and panic creation are
not just for Taiwan -

Of course, there wasn't  any salt shortage but still people made a
hefty profit on salt.

FWIW's the cost of branded salt is otherwise between INR 18/- to INR
30/- depending upon which is purchased.
