Also, given the fact that more people live in Liechtenstein than in the
northern parts of Scandinavia[1], the center of gravity that considers
land mass only isn't very interesting.

We've been in other countries where the cost of living was higher than
in other locations, and some of those have seen more visitors than, say,
the one in Argentina, where the cost of living is comparatively low. I
don't think such considerations should be of the highest importance on
deciding a location.

Then again, it's not really my call, so whatever :-)

[1] I have no numbers to base this statement on, but given the fact that
    northern scandinavia is fairly uninhabited, I'm sure it's possible
    to come up with some definition of 'the northern parts of
    Scandinavia' that has an area larger than that of Liechtenstein and
    for which that statement is true ;-)
