[Debconf-discuss] Free VOIP phone calls available
Hi,
I brought my VOIP adaptor with me to Debconf so I can make voice calls. If
you want/need to call any of the countries below[1], you are free to do so,
as I have unlimited free calling to them. If you want to call a country that
I do not have free calling to, you are welcome to do so if you arrange to
reimburse me for the call expense. If you do not arrange it with me, I have
complete call records, so I know who you called, so I will contact that
person at incredibly inconvenient times to try and get my money back.
Help yourself to the phone in the middle of the middle table in the hacklab.
The phone is based in the U.S., so if you are calling there you just need
the area code, otherwise international dialing will require the proper
country code[2].
The quality is actually quite decent, although probably due to the QoS on
the network, outgoing voice can be delayed or degraded a bit, although the
incoming quality seems to be really good. Obviously at peak hacking times,
the quality will be not as good at times such as early morning, meal times,
and later at night.
