Hi all

Sorry I missed last night's meeting. I did wonder if I should go online, but preparations for Zim (whoohoooo!) prevented me from doing anything about it.

The river club is bugging us, and I think they really want our patronage. I think we shouldn't count them out just yet, and also think they may be a better option than Breakwater, after their pricing curveball.

We had meetings with the new hotel starting on 1^st of February, 800 metres from us and they are getting on board with us. Also they will ferry people here all the time if necessary, so please don’t let that be a stumbling block J

Thanks for your email.

We submitted on the 1st and should hear in about a month's time where we stand.

We really like your venue, but unfortunately the team decided that since we can't know about the accommodation options yet, we didn't want to rely on this option, so your venue was not shortlisted. There is, of course, a small change we change our mind later, but we will have to take that as it comes. We will definitely keep this venue in mind for other initiatives and events though!
