Re: dvd+rw-tools 7.1, Blu-Ray, and INVALID FIELD IN CDB on session close

New problem: After using xorriso successfully for several burns, now it
works no longer, but fails with "Invalid address" almost immediately after
formatting a new blank BD-R disc.

As usual there are no useful SCSI errors in the kernel messages. I
tried two times with similar results. I updated firmware of BDR-205 to
version 1.04, power cycled drive, then tried again with the same result.
Then out of exasperation I tried growisofs -Z /dev/sr1 -rJ -V"etc" . and
it gives me no problems except for the usual error in subject:

The only thing that I have done since last successful xorriso BD-R burn is
burned a DVD+R-DL with wodim (failed) then with growisofs (success). But it
would seem that having power cycled the drive should make that issue
irrelevant.

Here is the dvd+rw-mediainfo from one failed disc, are these discs dead now?
