This can only happen if there is no problem with UTF-8
mkisofs -input-charset BLA -o /dev/null .
Unknown charset
Known charsets are:
iso8859-1
cp10000
cp10006
cp10007
cp10029
...
iso8859-7
iso8859-8
iso8859-9
koi8-r
koi8-u
mkisofs: 'iconv -l' lists more available names.
