This is from the missing code ;-)

The medium is not yet formatted and needs formatting which is what I try to 
implement since 2 months but got stuck because of other work....

I hope to be able to finish this in a few days.

Meanwhile, you could try formatted media (IIRC, Panasonic single layer BD-RE
is delivered preformatted).
