and mentions option
 -use-the-force-luke=4gms

Strange enough, ramblings and source of 7.0 say
that the test is disabled with BD-RE anyway.
What do you get from
 dvd+rw-mediainfo /dev/dvdrw
as content of this output line
 Mounted Media:         ...
