The blocks are of size 2 KiB (2048).
2295104 blocks is 4700372992 bytes. 4.7 GB (4482 MiB, 4.4 GiB)

My DVD+RW media report 
Speed Descriptor#0:    00/2295104 R@5.0x1385=6925KB/s W@4.0x1385=5540KB/s

It really fails at address 230540h which is 2295104 in decimal.
Quite as predicted by growisofs and dvd+rw-mediainfo.


Looks rather like your data is indeed too fat.
