Flag 1 is
  Bit 4=1  => set varirec DVD
  Bit 4=0  => set varirec CD
  Bit 1=1  => enable
  Bit 1=0  => disable
Although Plextor pretends otherwise in PlexTools, you can set
both VariREC CD and DVD no matter what disc type is mounted.

Setting is
  0x01..0x04 = 1..4
  0x81..0x84 = -1..-4

Strategy (or dye type) is 0..6 (CDs) or 0..7 (DVDs)). 

For CDs, the dye types are as follows:
  0 - default
  1 - Azo
  2 - Cyanine
  3 - Phthalocyanine A
  4 - Phth. B
  5 - Phth. C
  6 - Phth. D
For DVDs, Plextor just lists "strategy 1" ... "strategy 8" in PlexTools.

The PX-755 appearently does not have VariREC DVD.
