The recorder sits on a machine which uses the ability of ssh to allow a command to be executed when a given key is used. So the simplified call looks like: mkisofs -RU -pad /projects | ssh -i /root/bkup_key.pub bkup@backster.tmr.com

That's simplified, the actual selection of files is a bit more involved... any login using that key generates a recording run.
